Info on the egg
In the last few years there are numerous researches that started to change the view of the public. Instead of showing the eggs as unhealthy, they prove that one egg per day contributes to a better day and a better life. In correlation to the other foods, eggs are quite cheap; have many valuable vitamins important for the brain; contain many antioxidants, lutein and zaxine, which are important for good sight and keeping the eyes healthy.

The proteins in the egg are better than any other and the body very easily digests and absorbs them. Even so, just one egg hold important vitamins responsible for weight loss:
• Vitamin B5 – (has 7% of daily needed quantities) – aids the digestion of food and helps cells to produce energy
• Choline (has 23% of daily needed quantities)
The high quality of proteins found in eggs makes you full and fills you with energy, which in term contributes to keeping healthy body weight.

Just one egg holds 23% more than the daily needed quantities of choline – key factor to the normal functioning of human body’s cells, including those that are responsible for the metabolism, brain and nerve functions, memory and transfer of nutritive materials through the organism. The choline is extremely valuable to pregnant women, as it is needed for the development of embryo’s brain, prevent birth defects and stimulates small children’s memory.

The researches show that consuming one or even more eggs per day, in the boundaries of a balanced diet, have almost no impact on the blood’s cholesterol level, and don’t increase the risk of heart diseases or heart attacks of healthy adult people, even so that the consummation of eggs is related with the decrease of blood pressure. The latest researches show us not only that there is no correlation between egg consumption and risk of heart diseases, but on the contrary – that eggs are an exceptional source of choline (that has an important role in the degradation of homocysteine – an amino acid in the blood that is responsible for emergence of the heart diseases).
